Artist's Comments

I was side-swiped by the semi-truck of ideas, all thanks to my friend. She was talking about an old, old picture I did, called "Bottled Faerie," and how she met someone completely random using it as an icon who had no idea where it came from, but was going to get it as a tattoo. I laff.

Anyway... I got it in my head to update that idea, but instead of a faerie (in the typical sense of the term), this little frog boy wanted to be born. It was one of those things that I couldn't stop -- the idea was there, and I sat and painted it for eight hours straight so I'd have something down. I haven't slept. It's sad when obsession hits you.

If I ever have time, I'm going to do a whole series of these. Now.. back to homework. :faint:

I love it! He looks so... Bored! He's like, "Yo, buddy, I've been in here FOREVER. Think you could pop the lid on this bottle and let me out?" Me: "Okay, what could go wrong?"

There was much havoc in the streets...
