Graphite and chalk on toned pastel paper. This was a late assignment... mostly because I thought we had two weeks to work on it, and it turned out to be only one. I turned in my concept work and he said that was all I needed for the assignment, but I didn't feel right leaving it at that. So I finished this instead.
ANYwho... we're crossing animals together. I have a cat-fish (or a lion-fish if you'd rather) in the left, largest bubble. To the right is a caterpillar-bee-lion fish, and above them both is Ixi (from my pixie concepts). The other bubbles contain various pixies. Original 18 x 24". My camera sucks. |
