-edit-
phhhbtt. Fine. I shall inflict the sufferi- er- tags upon my newest friends/watchers. Because I can!

Except for this guy.
:iconnarakafurin:

Because he's just cool like that.

So I tag: :iconreco-rem: :iconwedealindreams: :iconepsdesign: :iconmarilie83: :iconeldris: :iconcowley: :iconjen63:

(By the way, thanks for watching me. :D I only inflict pain and suffering and journal tags once in a blue moon, I promise.)
-/edit-

I was tagged by :iconmoondogprod1: to do this:

1. Post these rules in your journal.
2. Each tagged person shall post 8 aleatory facts about themselves.
3. Tagged people shall write a Journal/Blog about their facts.
4. After posting your 8 facts, tag and name 8 more people.
5. Go to their dA websites and comment that they have been tagged and hugged, or have inspirational qualities...

---

So... I had to look up what "aleatory" meant. ^^; For anyone else who gets confused, "Aleatoric, indeterminate, or chance art is that which exploits the principle of randomness." Aleatory itself means "pertaining to luck." I think I'll go with the former definition, because I don't much believe in luck.

Random facts.. let's see...

1. I'm a perfectionist. This was probably already known. It takes a bit to get me inspired with something, but once I am, I pick and pick and pick until it's all perfect, and then I pick some more, because nothing is ever perfect. This applies to my art, my schoolwork (I have a 4.0 GPA), my real work, and every aspect of my life, which generally should make me a very stressed individual. Shouldn't it? ... I dunno. I'm not usually stressed. I just pick at things.

2. For everyone who voted in my poll (and didn't read my LJ info before I so connivingly deleted it), I'm 27! This is not a random fact. :paranoid:

The random fact would be that I look the same as I did when I was twelve -- which means I look like I'm twelve. I sound like I'm four, according to some people. I'm very tiny, and I kinda like that. Except the voice part. Have you ever tried answering a 911 call in a Minnie Mouse voice? Yeah.

3. I work for 911. I suppose I have to mention that next, after a statement like the last one. I take emergency phone calls, and I dispatch for the fire department (which in this county also includes ambulances). More things I should be stressed over.

Actually the job isn't that stressful to me anymore. It's the stupid people in charge that make me want to hurt things. :D Mandatory overtime my @$$ ...

4. When I was ten years old, I thought it would be a great idea to chop up this huge block of ice in the sink with a steak knife. It was great for the first few minutes, and then I sliced through my finger. Consequently (after slicing a tendon, I suppose), I have not had full function of my pinky since then. It's sad. It's always turned up like I'm some eclectic freak... think Doctor Evil.

5. Correlating to the last random fact, I have injured my drawing hand more than any other part of my body. This leads me to the conclusion that the more I hurt something, the better it gets. Right? ... RIGHT?!

At ten (it was a bad age for me), I broke my wrist at a skating rink. In my first year of college, I stabbed an exacto knife straight through my palm (completely accidental). I have scars on both sides. Add to that the many times I've slammed my hand or fingers into doors, drawers and cabinets, a bunny nearly chomping off the tip of my forefinger, and an onslaught of other injuries I prefer not to mention here, and I'd say my theory holds up.

6. I celebrate Samhein as opposed to Halloween. I'm not truly pagan anymore, but I just fell in love with the concept of Samhein (also known as Samhain), as much as with El Dia de los Muertos, so it's become my favorite holiday of the year. It's also the only holiday I actually celebrate, aside from my birthday. Which should be a holiday, just because I'd rather not ever have to work on it. :slow:

7. I have a tattoo! I designed it and had it ingrained into my skin about six years ago. I should have known better, because of fact number 1, and now I can't look at it without picking apart its flaws. But as long as I believe it has some spiritual, mystical meaning, I can set aside the nitpicky-ness.

Sometimes.

8. I've never been to a con. :O

Comic conventions, anime conventions... I have no one to take me or tell me when they happen and such. I've always wanted to get a booth at a con, for my artwork, but I don't even know where to begin.

Which is strange, since my step-father sort of makes his living at arts and crafts fairs. They have to be similar, right? I figure I would actually need to go to a convention before I should sign up to be in a convention. At least, that makes sense to me, so I don't freak out not knowing what to expect.

Random enough? :D
